The following is our Integrated Pest Management Plan for the eradication of bed bugs.

Our Intensive Treatment Includes:

• Vacuuming the infested area where there are signs of bed bugs. We have High-Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) Filters in our vacuums which will eliminate any live bed bugs, debris, eggs, feces, and cast skins.
• High Heat Steam treatment of the tufts, folds, seams, creases, and tufts, of box spring and the mattress, footboard, bed rails, headboard and all other bedroom furniture that is near to the bed. Our professional machines generate “dry” steam which is superheated.
• Cryonite® Freeze treatment of all furniture that is near to the bed, the box spring and the creases, seams, folds and tufts of the mattress, footboard, headboard, and the rails. Cryonite Freeze is undertaken on each of our Eco Treatments and also as a Standard Plan extra.
• Box Springs are encased. Your valuable bedding and mattress will be kept safe, and bed bugs that are newly hatched will be sealed inside and die. We include box spring encasement with our treatment.
• Dusting applications applied in crevices and cracks to all the baseboards in your home.
• Carpeting will be pulled up from its tacking strip behind the bed, and if there is any evidence of bed bugs, it will be treated with dust and steam as required.
• Lights switches and outlet covers around the bed area will be treated with dust. • Treatment of all furniture which is close to the bed as well as the headboard, bed rails and footboard.
• Treatment of the footboard, bed rails, furniture close to the bed and headboard.
• Bed Bug Interceptors/Traps installed beneath the legs of the bed. They offer early detection of bed bugs, but also stop them from getting on your bed.
• Border treatment of each room in the house or apartment.
• Heat Chamber is available as an extra. It is a condensed heat chamber used to kill bed bugs at all stages, and from those items or furniture which may be difficult to treat.
• Follow-up treatment within ten days to two weeks: following the initial treatment.
• Follow-up treatment if needed fourteen days: following the second visit.

Although the treatment may take a lot longer, it may be of great interest to those families who perhaps have asthma, allergies or other similar conditions, where the need for chemical-free options is high on the list, because its method along with the steam is environmentally friendly.
